Local Government Tourism Conference
​The National Department of Tourism (NOT) hosted the Local Government Tourism Conference on 26 -27 February 2013 at the n Convention Centre, Gauteng. The theme for the conference was "Tourism Development: Why Local Government Matters".

The purpose of the 2013 Local Government Tourism Conference was to provide a platform for dialogue between public and private sector stakeholders and leadership to share information on challenges and tourism development at local government.
