Bursaries and Internships

The Department has completed the awarding of bursaries for the 2021 academic year and all successful applicants have been notified. Please monitor our website for the 2022 intake during the last quarter of 2021. Also note the two year internship programme will not have any new intakes for 2021.

Domestic tourism public survey
 
The University of KwaZulu-Natal has been appointed by the Department of Tourism to undertake research on ‘RE-EXAMINING PERSPECTIVES ON DOMESTIC TOURISM’S RECOVERY IN SOUTH AFRICA IN A COVID-19 ENVIRONMENT’. The results will assist the Department of Tourism to develop appropriate measures and interventions to support the recovery of domestic tourism in the country. As a resident in South Africa (who is over 18 years old), you are invited to complete this survey using the link below.
