Internships and Bursaries

The Department of Tourism would like to thank all who applied for our 2020 bursary and 2020-2021 internship programmes. Applications for both are now closed and all successful candidates were informed. An announcement for the 2021 academic year bursaries will be made at the end of 2020, while new internships will be advertised in the second part of 2021.
The Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, issued Directions, in line with the National State of Disaster Regulations, extending the validity period of legally issued visas which expired during the lockdown period to 31 October 2020. Read more...
