South Africa’s Tourism Investment Summit (SATIS) 2026

South Africa’s Tourism Investment Summit will take place from 30 September to 1 October 2026 in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

The summit will bring together investors, tourism industry stakeholders and policymakers to stimulate investment and build a strong project pipeline for South Africa’s tourism sector. This work supports the country’s broader economic development goals.

Tourism is a key driver of South Africa’s economic growth, contributing significantly to GDP, employment and foreign direct investment. Continued investment in tourism infrastructure is essential to the country’s long-term economic sustainability and competitiveness in the global tourism market.

Building on SATIS 2025

  • A concession opportunity for the refurbishment and operation of this multi-use ecotourism facility.

  • Investment required: R69 million ($ 3.9 million)
