External Bursary Applications – Update
The Department of Tourism acknowledges receipt of applications received by 20 March for the 2026 bursary programme.
Due to the high volume of received applications, and to ensure a fair and thorough process, each application is subjected to meticulous consideration and assessment. This process has taken a reasonably longer period than initially anticipated. Your understanding in this regard is appreciated.
The bursary selection process is currently at its final stage. Successful applicants will receive formal bursary award letters on or before 31 August 2026. Applicants who do not receive award notifications by 31 August 2026 should consider their applications unsuccessful.
