​It is with a heavy heart that I learned of the passing of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu.

He changed the course of history in our country and will be remembered for his invaluable role in our struggle against apartheid.
 
He taught us the power of peace and reconciliation and will forever be remembered as a great humanist.
 
My thoughts are with Mama Leah and the family during this difficult time.
