Tourism Minister Derek Hanekom will address the opening of the Park Inn Hotel at Newlands, Cape Town.
The Park Inn has partnered with the Deaf Federation of South Africa to create special access and facilities for people living with disabilities. About one third of staff employed at the hotel are deaf.
Minister Hanekom will discuss the National Department of Tourism's plans to create universal accessibility at tourism facilities across South Africa.
