Tourism Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane is taking the domestic travel activation campaign to the Mpumalanga Province from 20 to 21 November 2020. The Minister will visit various attractions and establishments around the province including the iconic Kruger National Park and the sub-tropical town of Hazyview amongst others, as part of encouraging people to explore their country, particularly as we approach the festive season. This campaign not only seeks to showcase some of the country’s hidden gems, but will also go a long way in supporting the tourism sector’s revival following the devastating impact of COVID-19.
The Minister will join MEC Pat Ngomane for a Charity Golf Day and Fundraising Gala Dinner this weekend as part of the buildup events to the fourth annual Mbombela Jazz Festival to be held at Kruger National Park on 23 December 2020, hosted by the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency in collaboration with Harmocept. Considered an economic booster for the province, the festival has attracted people from all over South Africa and neighbouring countries.
