GAUTENG - The Department of Tourism (DT), in collaboration with the Culture Arts, Tourism, Hospitality & Sport Education Training Authority (CATHSSETA), the Gauteng Department of Economic Development and its provincial marketing agency – the Gauteng Tourism Authority (GTA), will host the 2022 National Tourism Careers Expo (NTCE) at the Joburg Expo Centre in Nasrec from 30 September till 02 October 2022. 

Themed ‘Rethinking Tourism – Career Opportunities Await,’ the 2022 expo will showcase careers and business opportunities that will inspire and uplift young people to think outside the box, and pursue sustainable livelihoods in tourism. 

The youth expo is held annually and draws in thousands of learners and educators from across the country to a three-day showcase of tourism vocations and opportunities. Participants can engage directly with tourism curricula experts and sector stakeholders on the diverse opportunities in the sector.
