The South African Minister of Tourism, Tokozile Xasa will attend the 105th session of UNWTO Executive Council Meeting taking place from 10 to 12 May 2017 in Madrid, Spain. Minister Xasa will serve as a panelist of a Round Table on “Sustainable Urban Tourism” which will take place today. This debate will be held within the framework of the United Nation’s International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development.
A highlight of the Executive Council Meeting will be the election of a new Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation on 12 May 2017.
