The Minister of Tourism, Ms Tokozile Xasa, will visit Kgosi Mampuru II Correctional Centre to officially handover one-hundred (100) laptops, open two Computer Training Facilities and present the full accreditation of the facility by the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA) as a recognised training centre on Tuesday, 20th June 2017, at 10:00am. The Minister will be accompanied by North West and Limpopo MECs for Tourism, Economic Development and Environmental Affairs; Hon. Seaparo Sekoati and Hon. Desbo Mohono, partners, sponsors and sector stakeholders.
Minister Xasa is championing this nationwide initiative in partnership with Youth Civil Society – the National Applications Centre (NAC), the Department of Correctional Services and is sponsored by the

www.merseta.org.za). The initiative is intended to empower the South African Youth in Conflict with the Law with Education, Scarce and Critical Skills development support in order to enhance their rehabilitation process and create opportunities for sustainable social and economic reintegration upon release, parole and probation.
