The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Fish Mahlalela, will host an Imbizo to engage the community of the Nkomazi Local Municipality in Mpumalanga on Youth and Women Economic Empowerment programmes. The Deputy Minister will host the engagement in collaboration with the Premier of the Mpumalanga Province, Ms. Refilwe Mtsweni - Tsipane. 

 

Themed: “Accelerating Youth and Women Economic Emancipation for a Sustainable Future," the community engagement will share insights on multiple government empowerment initiatives, including the Tourism Sector Master Plan, and the recently launched Tourism Equity Fund to encourage active participation by communities in the programmes and opportunities offered by the Department.
