The Minister of Tourism, Ms Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane, will this weekend host an outreach programme, which includes an engagement with tourism stakeholders in Phalaborwa, Limpopo Province.
The outreach happens alongside the 15th edition of the spectacular Limpopo Marula Festival being held in Phalaborwa from 21 to 29 February 2020.
The festival is a collaboration between the Department of Tourism, the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality, Limpopo Economic Development Agency (LEDA) and other government departments and private sector tourism partners in the region.
The Minister will also host a breakfast engagement with tourism stakeholders - a platform for the Minister to interact with tourism sector partners and community on opportunities and challenges for tourism growth and development in the province, in particular the Mopani region.

The Minister will attend other related activities as part of the department's commitment to support events that are a catalyst for domestic tourism growth.
