September is Tourism Month where all South Africans are encouraged to travel in their own country and the focus is on domestic tourism.
Mr Marthinus van Schalkwyk, Minister of Tourism, will officially launch tourism month at the Getaway Expo. The Eastern Cape is the host province for the tourism day celebrations later in the month. Provincial Activities
This year, our Minister will be joined by his Nigerian counterpart with the aim to grow tourism between the two nations and the rest of the continent.
