The National department of Tourism will be hosting a Tourism Leadership Dialogue to discuss issues around skills development within the tourism sector. Themed,“ Unskilled Work and the Travel and Tourism Industry: Myth or Reality?”, the dialogue will provide a platform for public and private sector tourism stakeholders to engage with the view of finding solutions to the lack of an adequately skilled workforce that has hampered the development of a strong national tourism industry in South Africa.

- Readiness: Are the learning institutions producing the right/ relevant skills needed by the tourism industry, and if not, what are these requirements?
