National Tourism Career Expo in the Free State
​Bloemfontein: The Free State Province will welcome more than 9 000 learners from all over the country, tourism students, unemployed graduates and educators during the second round of National Tourism Career Expo (NTCE) from the 29 September to the 01 October 2016. Under the theme: “Tourism: Alive with Opportunities” NTCE aims to position tourism as a valued and vibrant career of choice. 

NTCE was initiated in 2008 by National Department of Tourism, Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs and the Culture, Arts, Hospitality and Sports Sector Education and Training (CATHSSETA) to expose learners to different tourism careers and opportunities from very early stages.

The three day event will be packed with interesting activities like exhibition for the three days and Hospitality Corner with Chefs presentation and Mixology. There will also be Youth Business Zone which is where young people will be given an opportunity to present their business proposition to a panel of judges. Virtual Class Room which is a recruitment arena for unemployed graduates and students dealing with tips on how to prepare to find a job including compiling a CV and preparing for an interview will be one of the activities. Also as part of the programme, more can be learned about Aviation.
