Deputy Minister Elizabeth Thabethe will officiate the Hospitality Youth Training Programme graduation ceremony in Cape Town on 28 March 2018. The programme is part of the Department of Tourism’s Human Resources Skills Development initiative aimed at training unemployed youth.
The learners will receive certification in the following qualifications:
- National Certificate Food and Beverages NQF level 4
- National Certificate Accommodation Services NQF level 2
- Table Attendant Skills Programme NQF level 2
The ceremony will be followed by an imbizo, where Deputy Minister Thabethe will engage with the community of Khayelitsha
