Deputy Minister Fish Mahlalela visits the Limpopo Province – Charting the path for tourism recovery

Deputy Minister of Tourism Mr Fish Mahlalela, accompanied by the MEC for Department of Economic Development, Environment, Conservation and Tourism (DEDECT) in Limpopo Mr. Thabo Mokone, will visit the Mopani and Vhembe Districts in the Limpopo Province to assess the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on businesses in the tourism value chain.

The Limpopo Province boasts a myriad of spectacular landscape and cultural tourism offerings, making it an ideal holiday destination for wildlife and adventure enthusiasts. The current Covid-19 pandemic has negatively affected the industry and contributed to a decline in overall tourism economic activity.
