The Department of Tourism invites tenders for built environment professional services located nationally over a 3-year term without a guarantee of the quantum of work to deliver the infrastructure component of the Department's Destination Development programme.
The contracts will be based on the NEC3 Professional Service Contract.
The services of the built environment professional required are as follows:
Architectural - four service providers across South Africa will be appointed. Service providers will be subcontracted for architectural heritage services; landscape architectural services; acoustic, fire, electrical, mechanical, civil and structural engineering services; wet services; audio visual services and others.
Civil engineering - two service providers will be appointed. Service providers will provide necessary subcontract traffic engineering, geotechnical and land surveying services.
Project management - two service providers will be appointed. Project managers will subcontract specialist services when necessary and as required.
Cost management (quantity surveying) - two service providers will be appointed.
Health and safety agency - two service providers will be appointed.
Environmental compliance monitoring - two service providers will be appointed.
Environmental impact assessment - two service providers will be appointed.
Renewable energy engineering - two service providers will be appointed.
