The objective of questions is to offer Members of Parliament the opportunity to press for actions and to obtain information from the Executive on matters for which they take responsibility on behalf of their political parties or the electorate.

This is another oversight mechanism to hold the government accountable. There are two categories of questions; written and oral. For oral replies each Minister is divided into the cluster according to his portfolio. Tourism falls into Cluster 4 on Economics. Oral questions for each cluster are asked in accordance to a programme determined by the Programming Committee of Parliament.
