Tourism Minister to visit Vhembe District
​The Minister of Tourism Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane will visit the Limpopo Province to engage with stakeholders and the community in the Vhembe District on initiatives to drive sustainable and inclusive tourism development in the area.

The Minister will undertake site visits in the area on Friday, 1 November 2019. Media are invited as follows:​

The following day, the Tourism Minister will host a Tourism Imbizo which will delve into issues pertaining to the state of tourism in the Limpopo Province; travel facilitation, regulation and barriers to tourism growth; tourism safety and corruption; transformation and access to funding, and the Department’s long-term development plans (tourism products and infrastructure initiatives).

Minister Kubayi-Ngubane will be joined during the imbizo by the Limpopo MEC for Economic Development, Environment & Tourism - Thabo Mokone, Chief Livhuwani Matsila of HaMatsila Village, and the executive mayors of the Collins Chabane Local Municipality and Vhembe District Municipality – in rallying the community to actively participate in the Department’s initiatives and programmes to build sustainable tourism economies.
